Rothwell is a small village in north-east Lincolnshire, England, in the district of West Lindsey.

The village is located approximately 10 miles (16 km) to the south-west of Grimsby, and about 17 miles (27 km) to the south-east of Scunthorpe. It is two miles east of the Viking Way.
This small village and its parish sit about 2.5 miles (4.0 km) southeast of Caistor and 9 miles (14 km) north of Market Rasen. The parish covers just over 2,870 acres (11.6 km2) and is primarily good agricultural land. It lies in Cherry Valley.
It has a Medieval church, dedicated to St Mary Magdelene, and several old houses. The village pub was the Blacksmith's Arms (formerly the Nickerson Arms), situated on Hill Rise. Nickerson Seeds is based in the village, which is owned by Groupe Limagrain, the EU's largest seed company. Duck is produced by Cherry Valley Farms.
